All Aboard!!! Opera house ahoy

No the captain is NOT under the influence officer!
The wonderful Lee family have come to stay with us in Sydney for a few days, and as promised once before, we hired a yacht and Captain Lee sailed us under the bridge, past the opera house and all the way to our house in Chinamans Beach and back. Lots of wine and food along the way.
The children had a wonderful time, either scuttling around the deck or playing in the giant cubby house that is the downstairs of a yacht. Kate and Julian have done this before in the Whitsundays, and at Red Hill, but I was amazed at how at home Ella was.
The opera house and bridge were quite amazing to see from the water, I know we have done it on a ferry but a yacht makes you feel like one of the rich and famous!!! We look forward to sharing the experience with friends and family who come and visit!!!
Under Tony's tuition Brendan took the helm, glass of riesling in hand, just had to show you all this one!!! And we cruised sedately (to my relief) along the harbour, avoiding the rather scary Manly Ferry which has right of way at all times and is beeeeg and fast. Past the zoo, past Rose and Watsons bays, along Balmoral and all the way past Cyprian street. What a wonderful way to spend an afternoon.
"I would never ask you to buy a store bought sandwich darling!"
We always seem to do the most amazing things with the Lee family, and I look forward to many more adventures around the world in the future.

wow, what a great days. Looks like a lot of fun. We've done the cruise past the Opera House but on a tiny tinnie. Not quite the same!
